community
DMV Clinic believes in supporting both local and global communities.
Jack Sparks, owner of DMV Clinic is an experienced photographer who shares
his vision of his community and his travels in his Public
Gallery.
How did a thirty year veteran of the automotive trade find himself training technicians in Nepal? Jack's vision was to help reduce smog emissions in the high Himalayan Kingdom. In April and August of 2001 Jack Sparks and DMV Clinic were seen on Television in the country of Nepal on the other side of the world. You can read his story in his Nepal Journal.
Locally,
Jack Sparks has been actively involved with Big Brother/Big Sister since 1994.
Over a seven year period he has mentored three "little brothers".
Each year he acts as Santa Claus at the annual party for the children on the waiting list for matches. DMV Clinic has sponsored the Make-a-Match process several times. We also donate 3K services to Big Brother/Big Sister volunteers.
In 2003 DMV supported a runner in her fundraising efforts to run in the Avon
Walk for Breast Cancer. To further the cause of access to care and finding
a cure for breast cancer we thought, if she was willing to suffer the blisters
we could help provide the funding! Genea finished the course!
